Why are you called Mystic Bear Art?

The bear is said to be a healer and protector. Like a mother bear protects her young, it is said that leaders who possess bear medicine stand up and fight for what is good and true. The bear symbol appears across Native American cultures and reminds Native people to protect their ways of life, to fight for what is right, and to restore balance in communities. The strength of the bear will bring healing.

We are located in Los Osos, CA, Spanish for "The Bears". Our connection to Mother Earth, working with clay, painting with pigments, stringing with her jewels are our way of connecting. Each piece of art you purchase has been made from LOVE. Please email us with any questions or special requests.
