Joanna Pregon is a young artist whose work is a reflection of her experiences and the effects of those experiences on her own psyche. Joanna's vision allows her to capture images from her sub-conscious and to portray her perception of others, beyond their masks. Her style is surreal, metamorphic portraiture.

Of Lemko descent, Joanna was born in Poland and her journey to the United States involved secrecy, separation from family, and life in refugee camps, all by the age of 11. Today, at the age of 27, Joanna lives in Jerome, Arizona where she paints in her studio overlooking the Red Rocks of Sedona.
